The present invention discloses a method for preparing a double oxalate of lithium borate, comprising the steps of: 1) a lithium carbonate or lithium hydroxide formulated as a slurry continuously into CO2, LiHCO3 reaction, the solution was filtered to obtain LiHCO3; 2) step 1) and the resulting LiHCO3 solution of oxalic acid and acetic acid reacted LiHC2O4 mixed solution; 3) step 2) and acetic acid LiHC2O4 resulting solution was mixed with a solution of boric acid reacted solution of lithium bis oxalate borate; 4 ) in step 3) the resulting solution of lithium bis oxalato borate was concentrated, the concentrate was cooled and filtered to give crystals crystallized, the crystals were dried, to obtain. The method of preparation of the present invention, the raw material readily available, low cost, high utilization rate of raw materials, production process is simple, easy industrial production; whole process no waste discharge; bis oxalato resulting high purity lithium borate, a lithium ion battery in line with demand.
