Hydrogenation of cyclohexene catalyzed by polymer attached rhodium complex

1977
Abstract The hydrogenation of various substrates such as olefins, diolefins and alkynes has been investigated using a rhodium(I) catalyst immobilized on phosphinated styrene (2 or 20%) divinylbenzene copolymers. The effect of the substrates concentration, and the role of the uncoordinated polyphosphine in cyclohexene hydrogenation has been studied. The results show, in some cases, the probable formation of appreciable amounts of rhodium metal.
