Hot-electron superconducting nanobolometer-sensors for ultrasensitive array radiometers of the terahertz frequency range

A comparative review of research works and development of ultrasensitive superconducting sensor nanobolometers for the imaging array radiometers of the terahertz frequency range is presented. Various absorbers and several methods for the radiation input are considered, and the necessary conditions for the production technology are analyzed. The optimal structures of the nanobolometers are determined for various applications.
