Development and performance of 1 kW level PEMFC made with domestic materials

A 1 kW level proton exchange membrane fuel cell(PEMFC)was made with proton exchange membrane,catalyst,carbon paper and carbon plate made in China. The performance analysis and relevant experiment were done and showed that the power density of the stack had exceeded 200 mW/cm2 with the voltage distributed uniformly. It also showed a long-lasting stability of the stack by operating 1 800 h with no obvious reduction in performance.
