The development of China’s electric power demand response and implementation method

Based on the classical theory of power demand response, the article analyzes the nature of electric power demand response concept, development motivation and implementation method. It points out the essential target of demand response which is to mobilize the user participation and improve response ability. At present the development motivation is to reduce the peak load and improve user response ability on power grid fluctuation and put forward three kinds of implementation methods such as the price guidance incentive compensation and administrative coordination.
