Compare with when the smartphones emerged and now, the interface and layout design of smartphones has certainly different styles. The evolvement has been towards to be simpler, lighter and more intuitive. The trends are that physical numbers of layers are getting bigger but each interface has less contents, the size of text for icon is getting smaller and the icon design also getting similar and looks very harmonious. Until now this trend, simpler, lighter and more intuitive is accelerating; the guidance for interface and layout design encourage this trend however, there are no empirical evidence. In this study will investigate the four trends in smart devices OS; first the number of layers in layout design, second the number of contents in each layers according to the screen size, third the text size according to icons size and screen size: it means more intuitive, lastly the icons are looks harmonious style.
