Land Resource Survey is a national integrated investigation and evaluation engineering,And it is a basic,public welfare and strategy work.Now,the method for information extraction in the construction of background Database Construction is mainly man-made drawing.For this question,the method of object-oriented classification to automaticlly extract information for the construction of background database is given,at the same time,Guiyang city as example for realizing is used.It was shown in the result that this method can satisfy the demand of precision for construction of background database.
