Erupción ectópica del primer molar permanente Superior, evolución y tratamiento a 3 años: Caso clínico

La erupcion ectopica de molares permanentes se describe como una alteracion en la trayectoria eruptiva de esta pieza, llevando a su impactacion contra el diente adyacente. Esta patologia presenta una prevalencia del 1,6 al 6 por ciento en primeros molares maxilares permanentes.El diagnostico final es radiografico, complementado por signos clinicos como la asimetria en la erupcion o aparicion de las cuspides distales, sin presencia de las mesiales del mismo molar. La evaluacion periodica de la erupcion del primer molar permanente, nos lleva a diagnosticar si la ectopia del mismo es reversible o irreversible. La omision terapeutica en los casos irreversibles podria conducir a alteraciones en el molar impactado, perdida prematura del segundo molar temporal y procesos infecciosos entre otros. Este caso clinico describe tres anos de seguimiento de un primer molar superior permanente con erupcion ectopica y su resolucion favorable mediante un dispositivo semifijo, logrando la correcta posicion del molar en la arcada y la conservacion del segundo molar temporal. The ectopic eruption of permanent molar is described as an alteration of the trajectory of this tooth, finishing with the impaction against beside tooth. This pathology presents a frequency between 1.6 to the 6 percent in first maxillary permanent molars.The final diagnostic is radiographic, complemented with the clinic signs such as the asymmetry in the eruption or beginning the eruption with distal apexes in mouth, without presences of the mesial's ones.The continue evaluation of first permanent molar eruption lead us to diagnostic if the ectopic of its self is reversible or irreversible. The therapeutic omission in the irreversible cases could lead to alteration in eruption of the impacted molar, early loss of the primary second molar and infectious processes among others. This clinic case describes three years of the follow up of a maxillary first molar with ectopic eruption and its favorable resolution mediate a semi fix device, gaining the right position of the molar in the arcade and conservation of the second deciduous molar.
