Noise tolerant active clamp circuit with ESD protection capacity in ON

We will describe a circuit that includes an electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection circuit, a the OFF-hold circuit, and an ESD detection circuit. If the ESD detection circuit detects an ESD event, the ESD detection circuit is adapted to activate both the ESD protection circuit and to disable the OFF-hold circuit.
