Design of communication and service middle-tier in distributed PACS

Based on the appeared problems,the paper firstly presented the design of communication and service middle-tier, and then discussed the problems of communication framework based on design patterns,DICOM interconnectivity and interoperability and reuse components separately.The design not only improve the portability,extensibility and related QoS performance of distributed PACS in heterogeneous environment,but also satisfies the needs of high interconnectivity interoperability in the future.
