Holographic Imaging of Pulsatile Microvascular Blood Flow in the Cerebral Cortex

Imaging of microvascular blood flow in the exposed cerebral cortex of a mouse was achieved by laser holographic interferometry with a 50 kHz framerate camera, which revealed pulsatile blood flow contrasts in superficial blood vessels.
