An Optical Fiber-based SPR Sensor for Colorectal Cancer Diagnosis

An optical fiber-based surface plasmon resonance sensor for colorectal cancer (CRC) diagnosis is presented here. In the proposed study, plastic (Polymethyl Methacrylate - PMMA) and fluoride-based (ZBLAN – ZrF 4 , BaF 2 , LaF 3 , ALF 3 , NaF ) core materials have been investigated.
