5-aminopyrazole compound and production thereof

PURPOSE: To provide a novel compd. which is a starting material of an aminopyrazole deriv. useful as an insecticide, an acaricide, and a nematicide. CONSTITUTION: 5-Amino-1-(2,6-dichloro-4-trifluoromethylphenyl)-3-methylpyrazole of the formula is provided. This compd. is obtd. by reacting 2,6-dichloro-4- trifluoromethylphenylhydrazine with diacetonitrile e.g. in ethanol for 20 hr under heating and reflux. 5-Amino-1-(2,6-dichloro-4-trifluoromethylphenyl)-4- dichlorofluoromethylsulfenyl-3-methylpyrazole is obtd. as a 5-aminopyrazole deriv. useful as an inscticide, etc., by using the above compd. as a starting material.
