The 3 MV Van de Graaff of the “Centre d'etudes et de recherches par irradation”

Abstract A 20 years old Van de Graaff (KN-3000, HVEC) has been almost totally rebuilt. A description of the main modifications, of the experimental facilities, and of the current research undertaken in the field of materials science, is given.
