Алгоритм оптимизации схемы пассажирского состава – иерархический подход

The authors have considered the algorithm of the passenger train scheme optimization, the main objective being the definition of the predictable value of the number of passengers on board at the moment of the train departure as well as constant monitoring of the train passengers at certain moments. Starting from the values of predictable number of passengers that depends on the car types in the train on the day of its departure, it is on the basis of the hierarchical approach that the decision to add some extra cars to the train for accommodating the additional number of passengers is made. The results of the investigations have been laid into the basis of the program complex «Operative regulation of the passenger train scheme and optimization of using the car fleet» (developed by the TOO ‘Scientific research center for complex transport problems», the city of Astana) for making managerial decisions concerning the choice of the optimum train scheme on the basis of the predictable values of the number of passengers in a train.
