The invention discloses novel high-temperature-resistant lanthanum-series glass LaSA and a production process thereof; the lanthanum-series glass LaSA comprises the components by the weight percentage: 40-50% of La2O3, 20%-30% of SiO2, 20-30% of Al2O3, and 0-20% of Gd2O3. The production method comprises the steps: mixing the components, melting at the temperature of 1450 DEG C-1550 DEG C, cooling and molding in a furnace, discharging out of the furnace at room temperature, molding, inspecting, then annealing for more than 24 hours at the temperature of 500 DEG C-700 DEG C, and thus finally obtaining the glass which has the highest working temperature reaching 1100 DEG C and is the high-temperature-resistant lanthanum-series glass used in pressure vessel manufacturing factories, steel, metallurgy, petrochemical, military industry, lamps and lanterns and other industry fields.
