The Peri-operation Treatment of 34 Aged Patients over 75 Years with Lung Cancer

Objective To explore the perioperative treatment methods for patients aged over 75 years with lung cancer,to prevent the occurrence of post operative complications,to conclude the clinical experiences of surgical treatment of aged patients with lung cancer.Methods From January 2006 to June 2009,retrospective study was done on the peri-operation treatment and the occurrence of complications of 34 cases aged over 75 yeas.Results The surgical resection rate was 97.06 %(33/34),1 patient with open thoracic exploration failed to resects.Complications took place in 11 cases(32.35%),2 patients died,mortality rate(5.88%).Conclusion Aged lung caner patients are not the contraindication for surgical operation.To acquire satisfied treatment results of surgical operation,strengthening perioperational management associated with disposing complication effectively is important.
