OLR based reconfigurable two/four-states UWB notch antenna

This paper presents design of two/four switching techniques for having reconfigurable possible WiMAX interference cancellation within ultra-wideband (UWB) spectrum. The employed switch is one/two open loop resonators with PIN diodes whereas the UWB antenna is a half disc monopole antenna with curved coplanar waveguide ground. All possible switching scenarios are addressed in the paper where the results confirm the successfulness of the reconfigurable notching process. The presented results are acquired using full electromagnetic wave simulation.
