Exokarst, LiDAR et écoulement en Montagne de Reims

2020
This dissertation presents the impact of karst on the hydrology of the Montagne de Reims. A topographical survey campaign using airborne LiDAR was carried out in 2018 in the Montagne de Reims sector. The precise topographic images of this campaign are used in this dissertation. This work is in three parts. The first part presents the geology, hydrology, climate and topography of the Montagne de Reims. This part shows the potential of the sector to form karst. The second part presents the studies on the karst of the Montagne de Reims, on LiDAR and on the detection of exokarstic forms. The second part shows the specifications of the exokarst of the Montagne de Reims. This allows to choose the parameters useful for the research of the exokarstic forms. The third part presents the study on LiDAR and the database created on exokarst. This inventory is associated with field visits to un-derstand the upstream flows of exokarst phenomena. The fourth part presents hydrological studies, one carried out in 2020 and one carried out in 2009. This part helps to understand the flows downstream of the dolines and the impact of the dolines on this flow. Finally, the last part concerns the movement of the terrain of the Montagne de Reims. This shows another application of the inventory.
