The Importance of Preserving the Cognitive Content in the Learning Object Repository of the University of Oran 1 Ahmed Ben Bella

The purpose of this paper is to presents the significant role of learning objects repository of the University of Oran 1 - Ahmed Ben Bella - Algeria – and how to preserve the cognitive content which in turns will play crucial role in student education and communication tool between researchers within the same university and abroad. And that the digital cognitive content will be not be accessible if it is not kept and preserved through repositories that can be accessed to, as well as to protect it from destruction therefore protection is necessary for the preservation of content as well as scientific and cultural property, and for this reason repositories of the university of Oran 1 Ahmed Ben Bella has to work more in terms of quality and integrity for the preservation of the scientific content in order to move one step forward toward modern Elearning both for the trainers and trainees alike that is to say teachers and learners. Descriptive approach is used throughout this investigation and selecting method of data collection which is related to the problematic of this study however the choice of selecting case study is an appropriate and effective way in order to get valuable findings, our main concern is to tackle one specific aspect to study the university of Oran1 through qualitative analysis in addition to that a great deal of consideration is made in terms of objectivity and accuracy. The finding of this study suggests that it is crucial for the academic researchers of the University of Oran 1 Ahmed Ben Bella to work together with people from abroad, i.e. external world without restriction and limitation and to unfold intellectually at the international wide and this is only through learning objects within repositories characterized by higher quality and collaborative learning at wider level and the world over.
