Adesão às consultas de retorno em pacientes de ambulatório universitário de Nutrição Clínica

The aim of this work was to evaluate adherence to return visits in university outpatient clinic nutrition patients and associated factors. Cross-sectional, retrospective, quantitative and analytical study. It was carried out in a university clinic of Clinical Nutrition in a municipality in the north of Minas Gerais. Analyzes of associations between adherence to return visits and independent variables were performed using the Poisson regression model. 872 patients participated, most of them female (68.2%), adults (69.6%) and low schooling (69.6%). A prevalence of 67.4% and 17.7% was observed for the first and second nutritional returns, respectively. It was observed that the age range of the elderly, the presence of comorbidities and biochemical tests were associated with the nutritional outpatient return. There was a low adherence to nutritional monitoring, reinforcing the importance of developing motivational strategies to achieve positive results for health promotion.
