Abstract The study was conducted to investigate the effect of dietary manganese (Mn) on reproductive performance of female Ussuri raccoon dogs ( Nyctereutes procyonoides ) during the breeding season. Healthy female Ussuri raccoon dogs ( n  = 72) were randomly divided into six groups of twelve each. The six experimental diets were formulated to contain graded amounts of Mn (0, 40, 80, 120, 200 and 400 mg/kg of diet; Groups A through F, respectively).
