Construction and practice of cycle-operated teaching model on clinical practice

Clinical practice is not only an important part of higher medical education, but also a critical stage for the enhancement of medical students' basic knowledge and the training of their basic skills and clinical thinking. In order to improve teaching effect in clinical practice, the First Affiliated Hospital of Dalian Medical University has established a "multi-level training, supervision, evaluation and feedback" teaching model of clinical cycle operation practice, and has applied into clinical teaching practice, making medical students' theoretical foundation more substantial, operating skills and overall quality significantly improved, clinical logical thinking obviously enhanced. Meanwhile it promoted the teaching level of clinical teachers, laying a solid foundation for improving the quality of clinical teaching continuously.
