The results of a survey in 1986 of ethical attitudes and self-reported computer abuse among 135 Canadian and 158 Swedish university data processing students are presented. Correlations between ethical attitudes, computer abuse behaviour and country, level of education, sex, work experience, computer ownership and media exposure were examined
