Chronic Pleural Blastomycosis with Hyperprolactinemia, Galactorrhea, and Amenorrhea1,2

A patient with pleural blastomycosis developed hyperprolactinemia with amenorrhea and galactorrhea. These abnormalities were corrected by treatment with amphotericin B. Chest wall stimulation secondary to the pleural infection might have resulted in these endocrine abnormalities.
