Microporous, reinforced by non-woven polymer membrane production process and use thereof

2008
Microporous, by nonwoven fabric-reinforced polymer membrane, characterized in that a colloidal polymer emulsion is prepared by copolymerizing 100 parts of a water-soluble polymer, 30-500 parts of a hydrophobic monomer, 0-200 parts of a hydrophilic monomer and 1-5 parts of an initiator which produced emulsion with 0-100% of an inorganic filler, and 20-100% of a plasticizer, based on 100% solids content of the colloidal polymer emulsion is added to give a slurry coated the slurry onto both sides of a nonwoven fabric and is dried to the microporous to result from non-woven fabric-reinforced polymer membrane, wherein the nonwoven fabric described above is selected from one of the fiber webs which are made of polyacrylonitrile, nylon, polyvinyl formal, polyester and polyolefin fiber, and wherein the described water-soluble polymer is polyvinyl alcohol, polyethylene oxide, polyvinylpyrrolidone or a water-soluble copolymer of polyvinyl pyrrolidone, wherein the polymerization degree of polyvinylalcohol 1700-2400 and its degree of hydrolysis is 50-99, the polyethylene oxide has a molecular weight in the range between 100,000 to 2,000,000, the polyvinylpyrrolidone, or the water-soluble copolymer of polyvinyl pyrrolidone ...
