Application of Small and Medium-sized Floods Real Time Forecasting and Operation Technology for Large Reservoir in the Three Gorges Reservoir

This paper proposed a technical system for the real time forecasting and operation of small and medium-sized floods for large reservoirs,for improving the utilization rate of flood storage capacity of reservoir and realizing the utilization of floods.After the application in the Three Gorges Reservoir,it shows that such technology has advantages of controllable risk and significant benefit.
