The invention relates to an external furnace moulding die for tempered glass of an automobile. The die comprises a terrace die (11) and a concave die (12) which are installed on glass moulding furnace equipment, wherein the terrace die (11) is arranged above the concave die (12). The die further comprises a common bottom frame (1) which is provided with a terrace die positioning hole (2) and an assembly hole (3), the terrace die (11) is fixed on the common bottom frame (1) by virtue of the terrace die positioning hole (2) and the assembly hole (3), the common bottom frame (1) is fixedly arranged on the glass moulding furnace equipment, and a heating furnace wire on the glass moulding furnace equipment extends into the common bottom frame (1) to heat the terrace die (11) so as to heat to-be-processed glass between the terrace die (11) and the concave die (12), so that the glass is melted and moulded. Compared with the prior art, the die provided by the invention has the advantages of lowering the cost, improving the production efficiency and the like.
