PENGEMBANGAN BAHAN AJAR MATERI SAINS BERBASIS CONTEXTUAL TEACHING AND LEARNING (CTL) UNTUK ANAK KELOMPOK B DI TAMAN KANAK-KANAK

This study aims to develop science teaching materials base on contextual teaching and learning (CTL) for children in group B in right kindergarten whose validity and practicality have been tested.The development model used Rowntree model of (analysis, development and evaluation), formatif evaluation Tessmer with stage self evaluation, expert review, one to one evaluation and small group evaluation. The results showed that the validity of the material was 85% and the validity media was 88%. The average validity of the product was 87% with a very valid category. The one to one evaliation stage involved 2 children with 88% result and the small group evaluation stage involved 6 children with 90% result, both of which obtained and average of 89% with the very practical category. This teaching material product proves that contextual learning can be used simply in science but for group B children through simple experiments with science material by linking learning in everday life and providing meaningful and real experiences for children.it can be concluded that the development of science teaching materials based on contextual teaching and learning (CTL) for children in group B in kindergarten are declared valid and practical and suitable for learning science.
