Artificial propagation and breeding technology for Tinca tinca Linnaeus.
2011
[Objective]The experiment was conducted to obtain the artificial propagation and fry breeding technology for Tinca tinca Linnaeus and meet the need of farmers to fry for accelerating the extension of Tinca tinca Linnaeus in Guangxi.[Method]In Nov.,2004,one year old winter fry fishes were introduced for breeding, and in Mar.,2005,the mature parent fish was selected for artificial propagation in spring.[Result]Through half-year intensified breeding, the average body weight of parent fish reached above 600 g/tail,and the gonad of female and male parents developed to IV-V stage. As parturition by LRH-A2 and DOM,the parent fish had oviposition after 11-13 h of heating effects. The rate of 1st batch of artificial inoculation was the highest(85.0%),however,the breeding failed due to preying by larger enemies. The rate of 2nd and 3r d batch of inoculation was 59.3 and 63.0%,respectively,in water cement pit,and the inoculated fries attained 939 thousand tails,of which 648 thousand tails ranged from 3.0-5.0 cm in length.[Conclusion]By adopting reasonable breed of parent fish, practicing drug aided parturition and artificial inoculation Tinca tinca Linnaeus fry may be propagated successfully, however,it needs to regulate the water temperature.Stabilized temperature of 23-27℃ was found to promote the parturition in time and enhanced the quantity and quality of Tinca tinca Linnaeus fry.
