This work intends to describe the experience of two students of the the 24th Edition of theSchool of Formation for Youth for the Coexistence with Semi-Arid, conducted by the Institutoda Pequena Agropecuaria Apropriada (IRPAA), bringing several subjects to reflection in thelight of a new paradigm of “Living with the semi-arid”, instead of the old and obsolete approachto “combating drought”.
