[Hemodynamic progression of aortic valve stenosis in the adult: implications of the clinical management of asymptomatic patients].

: In this review the issue of the progression of hemodynamic severity of asymptomatic aortic stenosis is analyzed. The role of several factors leading to faster progression of the disease is discussed. The knowledge of these findings is very helpful in order to evaluate the best strategy of follow-up in these patients. Another important point to clarify is the management of patients with mild or moderate aortic stenosis undergoing coronary artery bypass graft surgery.
