La institucionalización deportiva en plena guerra civil. La creación del instituto de educación física y deportes de cataluña de 1937

espanolEste articulo tiene como objetivo analizar el proceso de creacion del Instituto de Educacion Fisica y Deportes de Cataluna (IEFEC) entre 1936 y 1938, asi como el rol atribuido a este organismo en el contexto de la guerra civil. El estudio es resultado de un exhaustivo analisis sobre fuentes de caracter politico juridico, prensa de la epoca y bibliografia publicada. En definitiva, se plantean respuestas sobre tres aspectos clave: (a): los mecanismos de creacion y de construccion de la arquitectura institucional del IEFEC en manos del gobierno catalan resultante tras el golpe militar de julio de 1936, (b): las atribuciones y la obra deportiva y educativa del IEFEC en el dificil contexto belico y (c): la importancia de esta institucion en el marco del proceso de institucionalizacion del deporte en la Espana anterior a 1939, especialmente en la II Republica. EnglishThe goal of this article is to analyse the process of creation of the Institute of Physical Education and Sports of Catalonia (IPESC) between 1936 and 1938 and his role during the civil war. This study is a result of an exhaustive research of documents of legal nature, press and scientific production. To summarise we want to answer three key questions: a) the mechanisms of creation and development of the institutional architecture of the IPESC under the Catalan government that emerged with the beginning of the war, b) The attributions and the educative and sportive work of the IEFEC in a context of war c) The importance of this institution during the institutionalization of the sport in Spain before 1939, specially in the Second Republic.
