Attribution and strategies are very important aspects of scholastic achievement. Children using correct strategies, who adopt a good study method and who attribute their successes and failure to the amount of effort invested, achieve better performance, and are more motivated, success-oriented and self-confident. On the other hand, non strategic children, often attribute sucess to external factors and thus even try to find adequate solution to their scholastic problems. Generally, a correct strategic attitude is accompanied by a mature attribution style : children know that the most important cause of their success or failures is personal effort
