Ispitivanje pločastih epruveta sa prslinom

2017
Safety of pressure vessels, basically represents the dependence of reliable functioning of well conceived and well executed welds. Practice has shown that the overall safety of welded structures and, thus, the safety of pressure vessels, primarily depends on local security, because each welded construction has certain spots that are consequences of construction solutions, selected and built-in materials or processing technology. Therefore, the safety of welded structures mainly depends on the safety of critical welds, i.e. on their shape and stress concentration, heterogeneity of structure and mechanical properties of components (BM, HAZ and WM), residual stresses and deformations due to welding defects in them. In the analysis of welded joints in pressure vessels, the model which is most frequently used today is the test of plate specimens, aimed at assessing material resistance to crack growth, which is analyzed in this paper.
