The Validity and Reliability Study of Turkish Version of Child Posttraumatic Stress Reaction Index

Objective: The Child Posttraumatic Stress Disorder Reaction Index (CPTS-RI) designed for the assessment of PTSD symptoms has been adapted to Turkish and tested for validity and reliability. Method: Randomly selected sixty children (30 girls and 30 boys) who have experienced the explosion at the ammunition factory in Kirikkale, have been interviewed using the CPTS-TI. The Turkish version index has been evaluated with to test-retest reliability, interrater reliability and construct validity. Results: The overtime consistency has been measured by test-retest reliability with r=.86 (N=20). The cronbach Alpha was .75. Interrater reliability has been found Cappa .887.
