Dilemmas in diagnosis and early management of coeliac disease

Abstract Serological screening tests have improved the detection of coeliac disease immensely but duodenal biopsy remains the gold standard for diagnosis in most children. This article deals with the challenges of using the new triple test in diagnosis as well as some of the commonly seen dilemmas associated with diagnosis and early management of coeliac disease.
