Detección de la violencia de género en atención primaria

Violence against women is a public health problem. There is no profi le on the victim or aggressor; anyone may be a victim of abuse or an aggressor. When women come into contact with primary care due to unspecifi c symptoms of illness, we should think abuse problems. It is very important that professionals of primary care are involved in the early detection of this health problem and coordination systems of all institutions involved are established, with the aim of giving a comprehensive and integrated response to these situations.
