Method for preparing 5-series foam aluminum alloy material through pore forming agent method

2016
The invention discloses a method for preparing a 5-series foam aluminum alloy material through a pore forming agent method. NH4HCO3 particles with the particle size being 300-500 microns and the purity being 99.99% serve as a pore forming agent for the 5-series foam aluminum alloy material; and the particle size of the 5-series aluminum alloy powder ranges from 100 mm to 200 mm. After the 5-series aluminum alloy powder and the NH4HCO3 particle pore forming agent are completely mixed according to the mass ratio of Al to NH4HCO3 being 1-5:1-2, press power of 50-200 MPa is used for pressing the mixed powder into a blank, the blank is placed in a quartz tube type sintering furnace to be heated to 150 DEG C-300 DEG C in a stepped heating manner, and heat preservation is conducted for 2-3 h; then the temperature is increased to 540 DEG C-580 DEG C, heat preservation is conducted for 1-3 h, sintering is conducted, and after furnace cooling is conducted to the room temperature, the 5-series foam aluminum alloy material is obtained. According to the 5-series foam aluminum alloy material prepared through the method, the cost of the pore forming agent is low, pores are distributed evenly, the pore size is easy to control, and the problem that impurity elements pollute a base body does not exist. The average pore size of the pore forming agent ranges from 131 microns to 278 microns, the porosity of the pore forming agent ranges from 40% to 75%, and the density of the pore forming agent ranges from 0.68 g/cm to 1.62 g/cm .
