The research of excitation source in FDTD method for waveguide

Excitation source is an important part in finite difference time domain (FDTD) simulations. There are several kinds of excitation source, such as the hard field source, the transparent current source, the total field/scattered field (TF/SF) source, the transparent field source and so on. When simulating the waveguide, we need a transparent source to keep the exciting field at the source grids as desired in some cases, for example simulating the waveguide's discontinuities. In this paper, we proposed a new transparent field source without the auxiliary FDTD simulation, which can be more timesaving.
