Peptides that bind to amino-terminal truncated amyloid beta-peptide and their use

The invention relates to peptides which bind to amino-terminally truncated pEAβ3-42 whose exposed glutamic acid residue is present at position 3 or 11 in cyclized Pyroglutamatform. Four oligopeptides were identified by mirror-image phage display technology.
