Case Studies for Learning Basic Biostatistical Concepts

1991
Clinical investigators are finding it increasingly necessary to employ biostatistical concepts and methodologies in their experimental designs, data analyses, and reports. Grant applications and manuscripts submitted for publication are now routinely reviewed for their statistical validity, often by professional statisticians. Even clinicians not engaged in research must understand some basic biostatistical concepts to be able to evaluate the scientific advances published in their own professional journals.
