Aplicativo web para estimativa do tamanho de parcela experimental

2015
The objective was to simplify the execution of uniformity assay through a web application that determines the size of parcels using the modified method of the maximum curvature, proposed by Meier and Lessman (1971). The uniformity assay is a key method to investigate the minimum size of parcels for the purpose to reduce experimental error without relying only on empiricism. For the coffee crop set the plot size is a recurring problem. The research of field work carried out with this culture are made covering very different environments and so, many times, the heterogeneity of local conditions leads to achieving high experimental error, making it difficult to prove differences, if they exist, between treatments, reinforcing the importance of implementing uniformity assay for this cultivar. For the presentation of the web application, was used part of the data from Ciprianio et al. (2013) concerning about coffee yield of Topazio MG 1190 (Coffea arabica) on uniformity assay size 5x12. The use of the web application proved to be valid; it will provide the dissemination of the methodology of determining the parcel size in a practical way and will help achieve the step of experiments calculations.
