Diagnosis for preservation design of Royal Villa of Monza wooden works.

Topic of the paper is the methodology applied during the inspections and diagnostics performed in the Royal Villa of Monza in August 2011. The works was carried out on a large amount of internal wooden works (floorings, panelings, doors and windows) of the four levels (ground floor, 1th floor, 2nd floor and belvedere floor) of the central body of the Villa. Inspections and investigations were necessary in order to proper design and execution of restoration and conservation works, interventions realized between 2013 and 2014.
