The Body-Superego

Several psychosomatic observations encourage us to reflect on the relations be-tween the somatic and the superego. In its deep somatic layers the body seems to be caught in the meshes of the id and the superego in the early phases of its evolution. Hence the idea of a body-superego to portray these intimate relations between the soma and the superego.
