Artificial intervertebral disk

2010
The invention discloses an artificial intervertebral disk. The intervertebral disk is designed to consist of three parts: an upper base, a nucleus pulposus and a lower base, wherein the upper base is matched with the spherical convex face of the top face of the nucleus pulposus through the concave spherical face on the bottom face of the upper base; and the lower base is connected with sliding rails on the bottom face of the nucleus pulposus through a dovetail groove on the top face of the lower base. When the spine bends and straightens, the upper base and the nucleus pulposus perform spherical-face arc-shaped sliding through the spherical structure, and the lower base and the nucleus pulposus perform back and forth sliding in the dovetail groove on the lower base through the sliding rails. Due to the design, the movement of the artificial intervertebral disk is close to that of the intervertebral disk of human body, so that the regression possibility of adjacent intervertebral disks is lowered.
