An Enhanced Packet Delivery Ratio for Mobile Ad Hoc Networks Using DCCHSM Algorithm

2021
Clustering is widely preferred in wireless ad hoc networks in order to provide scalability for the high quantity of nodes that are mobile. The intend of strategies of clustering is pretty complicated, appropriate to topology formation of such networks. The proposed system used a simulator clustering to create a neighbor table. And it uses hybrid clustering involving k-means and k-medoids for its information routing. The nodes with the maximum energy level are always opted to be the cluster head. This proposed DCCHSM algorithm provides better performance compared to the existing cluster algorithm least cost clustering (LCC), flexible weight-based cluster algorithm (FWCA) and double cluster head (DCH) and also improving increased packet delivery ratio for mobile ad hoc networks (MANET).
