The Economic Analysis of the "Peasant Worker Shortage" in Processing Trade

China's "peasant worker shortage" mainly concerns about the processing trade.When the soft salary of the industry is lower than the expectation of peasant workers,they "give up the job" easily,and choose to stay at home to do farm works or work for non-processing trade industries.The supply of labor force cannot satisfy the needs of the industry on peasant workers is the fundamental cause of the "peasant worker shortage" in processing trade.To solve the problem,it is necessary to accelerate the transformation and upgrade of the industry;processing trade enterprises should increase the salary of peasant workers;the dual household registration system reform should be made,and the transferring costs of peasant workers should be lowered;and employment service and vocational skill training should be strengthened to increase the employment rate of peasant workers.
