The Aggression Motive and Personality Development: Japan and Germany

1987
Seen from the outside, the state of aggression research may not appear to be very satisfactory. Unlike achievement motivation research, there is no great theoretical consensus about aggression: key issues are still being disputed. There is as yet no universally recognized definition of aggression, and there is even some doubt that it exists at all as a specific, separate phenomenon. The nature and importance of individual differences and the way in which aggression develops have not yet been generally agreed.
