Reducing cardiac injury during minimally invasive repair of pectus excavatum

Minimally invasive repair of pectus excavatum (MIRPE) provides a minimal access approach to correct pectus excavatum deformities. Cardiovascular complications represent a rare but catastrophic complication of this cosmetic operation.
